Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Victoria, Texas is seeking a part-time Retail Associate to assist customers, handle sales transactions at the register, and help maintain a clean, inviting store. You will stock shelves, receive merchandise, and support security of cash and company assets while delivering friendly, respectful service to customers and team members.

If you are reliable, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment, this role offers flexible hours

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking and standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks for stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store including restrooms.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
