Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a part-time Retail Associate at our Pickerington, OH location. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Retail or service experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to interpret operational documents is required.
• Physically able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform long periods of standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong communication and organization skills are required.
• Safety and professional behavior expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
• Other duties as assigned*
