Job summary

Family Dollar LLC in Greybull, WY is seeking a part-time retail associate to assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help keep the store well stocked and clean.

You will maintain cash security, unload shipments, and provide friendly, professional service while following store policies and safety standards. This role offers varied duties and opportunities to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and waste disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
