Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of New Mexico LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, ensure cash security, stock and stock replenishment, unload trucks, and maintain cleanliness.

A strong emphasis is placed on safety, teamwork, and friendly interactions with customers and colleagues. The role requires good communication, organizational skills, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Maintain store cleanliness, bathrooms, floors, trash, and neatness.
• Other duties as assigned.
