Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

This role requires strong customer service skills, reliable teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Part-time hours may apply, with responsibilities across merchandising, cleaning, and safety tasks. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash disposal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
