Job summary

Family Dollar in Trenton, FL is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, maintain store cleanliness, restock shelves, and support unloading merchandise.

The role requires a friendly, reliable team member with strong communication and organizational skills, able to lift up to 50 lbs and follow operational instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Keep the store clean, restocked, and presentable including bathrooms and floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
