Job summary

Family Dollar in Bell, Florida is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions, handle transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and presentable.

You will unload trucks, replenish shelves, maintain cleanliness, and ensure safety while engaging with customers and team members. Part-time role with flexible duties and a focus on great service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and handle standing, walking, and lifting tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep the store clean, restock bathrooms, sweep and mop floors, take out trash.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
