Position Summary

The Store Consultant consistently delivers a positive customer experience to all customers, utilizing consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives and provide solutions. This team member is knowledgeable in all areas of the Store’s business, including print, signs & graphics, and shipping. Responsibilities include taking orders, coordinating store activities, providing pricing and product information, and recommending FedEx Office products and services. The Store Consultant will operate and maintain various equipment, manage the production queue, handle complex projects, and complete tasks based on priority.

General Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow instructions from supervisors and assist team members in store functions.
• Assist in training store team members.

Service

• Demonstrate consultative behaviors to understand customer needs.
• Recommend appropriate products and services in printing, signs & graphics, and shipping.
• Provide outstanding customer service by anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly.
• Handle complex customer orders and provide accurate pricing.
• Prepare parcels for shipping and operate related equipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store environment.

• Handle customer data confidentially and process transactions accurately.
• Maintain and stock equipment and supplies.
• Display products and signage correctly.
• Prevent errors and waste, and complete financial paperwork.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication skills.

Essential Functions

• Stand for entire shifts, lift up to 55 pounds, and perform physical activities as required.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain regular attendance and support store operations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Pay range: $16.00 - $18.80/hr. Benefits include health, vision, dental, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
