Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC seeks a Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience for every customer at our Fort Worth store. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help maintain a secure, organized store environment.

Responsibilities include stocking shelves, unloading trucks, and ensuring a clean, safe store with professional interactions. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, and part-time hours are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and sustain frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
• Other duties as assigned
