The Store Consultant consistently delivers a positive customer experience by utilizing consultative skills to anticipate needs, suggest alternatives, and provide solutions. This team member is knowledgeable in print, signs & graphics, and shipping, responsible for taking orders, managing store activities, providing pricing and product info, and recommending FedEx Office products and services. They operate various equipment, handle complex projects, stock supplies, and complete tasks based on priority.

General Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow instructions from supervisors and assist team members
• Train store team members

Service

• Demonstrate consultative behaviors to understand customer needs
• Recommend appropriate products and services
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly
• Take complex orders, assemble parcels, and prepare goods for shipping
• Operate printing, binding, and related equipment
• Maintain a safe, clean store environment

Profit

• Handle customer data confidentially
• Process transactions via POS, including cash handling
• Maintain and repair equipment and supplies
• Display retail materials properly
• Prevent errors and waste
• Complete financial paperwork and reports

Self-Management

• Perform multiple tasks simultaneously
• Seek opportunities for skill improvement
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Adhere to company standards and policies

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6+ months of experience
• Excellent communication skills
