Family Dollar LLC is seeking a part-time associate at our Mankato, Minnesota location. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help maintain a clean, stocked store while staying friendly and professional with customers and team members.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, prior retail or service experience, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. The role includes benefits such as insurance and retirement plans where available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including restrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
