Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of New York LLC is hiring a Customer Service Associate to provide a friendly shopping experience in our Town of Sodus store. You will assist customers, process sales, and help keep shelves stocked and the store clean.

The role emphasizes strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work at a cash register, lift items, and support daily store operations. This is a part-time position located in New York, with opportunities to grow within the retail team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail or customer service experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
