Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent.
• Experience: Prefer experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store environments.
• Physical requirements: Lift up to 50 lbs and frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting, and repetitive lifting.
• Availability: Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers in a positive and approachable manner.
• Help keep the store clean and well-stocked for customers.
• Assist in unloading merchandise from trucks and transporting stock to shelves.
• Stock shelves independently and recover merchandise as needed.
• Accurately handle customer funds and process transactions using the POS system.
• Maintain awareness of customer activity to ensure a safe shopping environment.
• Perform other duties to support store operations.
