Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our store team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage sales transactions at the cash register, maintain store cleanliness, and help with stocking and merchandise recovery.

This part-time role requires a positive, professional demeanor, good communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or customer service experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Maintain cleanliness across the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
