As a CSR, you’ll build relationships with regular customers, support a smooth store operation, assist with inventory and loss prevention, and train new team members as needed. This role offers varied shifts and the chance to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) or retail experience.
• Understanding of federal, state, and local laws as they apply to retail sales.
• Must be able to speak, read, understand, and write English (eighth grade level).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly smile and provide prompt courteous service; handle comments, complaints, or suggestions.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships by recognizing regulars and learning their names and favorites.
• Complete the customer interaction process with greeting, fast transaction, suggestive selling, correct change, receipt, and a proper closing with thanks.
• Train new CSRs on store procedures as needed; balance shift-related tasks with teammates.
• Protect store inventory and assets; perform loss prevention activities as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and ensure signage and equipment are in working order.
