Job summary

Family Dollar in Maiden, North Carolina is looking for a part-time Customer Service Associate to help customers, operate the register, stock goods, and maintain a clean, welcoming store environment. Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail or customer service exposure. Lifting up to 50 lbs and regular standing are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and interpret documents.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Stock shelves, recover merchandise, and unload trucks as needed.
• Keep store clean, restrooms stocked, and areas presentable.
• Provide friendly, professional interactions with customers and teammates.
• Other duties as assigned.
