Job summary

Dollar Tree in Conroe, TX is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, manage stock, and help unload merchandise at times.

The role emphasizes customer service, store cleanliness, and adherence to safety and operations guidelines, with flexibility for various duties as assigned. This is a part-time, on-site position at our Conroe location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store encouraged.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and waste disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
