Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Cockrell Hill, TX is hiring a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, stock shelves, unload trucks, and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

We value strong customer service, reliability, and teamwork. Prior retail or service experience is preferred; lifting 30–50 lbs is part of the role, and flexibility in schedule is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent standing/walking.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Keep the store clean: bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
