Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Sun City, AZ is seeking a part-time store associate to assist customers, process transactions, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, safe environment. You will help unload trucks, replenish stock, and ensure attractive product presentation.

Previous retail or customer service experience is highly preferred. Candidates must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for extended periods while delivering friendly, efficient service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
