Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions at assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and teammates
• Keep store clean (bathrooms, floors, trash) and presentable
• Other duties as assigned
