Job summary

Dollar Tree in Miami Shores, FL is seeking a friendly Customer Service Associate to help customers, process transactions at the register, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, well-organized store environment that invites shopping.

Responsibilities emphasize delivering excellent service, following store procedures, and supporting teammates; candidates should be able to lift 30–50 lbs, stand for long periods, and communicate clearly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail or food/grocery environments preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret store policies.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, bending).
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team to meet store goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
