Family Dollar in Lake Panasoffkee, FL is seeking a Customer Service Associate to assist customers, handle sales transactions at the register, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and well-presented.

You will help unload merchandise, follow safety procedures, and maintain a friendly, professional atmosphere with customers and teammates. This part-time position offers opportunities to grow with the store team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage transactions at cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and teammates.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and common areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
