Job summary

Family Dollar in Goshen, Indiana is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to provide a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and organized.

You will be accountable for cash handling, merchandise receiving, and working with leadership to maintain safety and friendly interactions with customers and team members. We are an equal opportunity employer with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environments preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and waste areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
