Job summary

Family Dollar in Goodman, MS is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, and manage sales transactions at the register.

You’ll help keep the store stocked and clean, handle merchandise, unload trucks, and ensure safety and friendly interactions with customers and teammates. A high school diploma is preferred and prior retail or service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous retail or service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operating documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and stand/walk frequently.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
