Family Dollar in Flushing, MI is seeking a Customer Service Associate to create a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, restock shelves, and help unload merchandise as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Keep the store clean, restocked bathrooms, and neat areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
