Job summary

Dollar Tree in Leeds, Alabama is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions, handle transactions, stock shelves, unload trucks, and maintain a clean, safe store with professional interactions.

The role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, with opportunities for growth through our educational and retirement benefits. This position is on-site in Leeds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and waste.
• Other duties as assigned.
