Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Fergus Falls, MN is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, stock shelves, unload trucks, and maintain cleanliness while promoting a safe, friendly store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs.
• Able to walk, stand, kneel, bend, and perform repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise as needed.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure store cleanliness and restocking of bathrooms; sweep and mop floors; take out trash.
• Maintain a positive, safe, respectful environment and professional interactions.
