Job summary

You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, stock shelves, unload trucks, and maintain store cleanliness while delivering friendly, professional service. This role emphasizes customer care, safety, and teamwork, with opportunities to grow within a national retailer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist unloading trucks.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
