Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate in Taylorsville, KY. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and support stock replenishment while maintaining store cleanliness and safety.

The role requires good customer service, reliability, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Prior retail or service experience is preferred. Join a team focused on a positive shopping experience for every customer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms, floors, and trash disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
