Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Washington to help provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

Responsibilities include unloading merchandise, replenishing stock, and maintaining a safe, friendly environment for customers and staff. Experience in retail or service is preferred and a HS diploma or equivalent is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail or service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and be able to stand, walk, and maneuver frequently.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional interactions.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
