Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our Tempe, AZ team. You will assist customers with questions, handle sales at the register, and help maintain a clean, organized store environment.

Responsibilities include stocking, unloading trucks, and delivering friendly, helpful service while following policies and safety guidelines. Part-time position based at 1234 West Elliot Rd, Tempe, AZ 85284-1100. Opportunities for growth and benefits are highlighted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
