Job summary

The TJ Maxx store in Suffolk, VA is hiring for a customer-focused role. You will deliver a highly satisfying customer experience, interact with shoppers, and uphold store standards while working across departments as needed to support the business.

Responsibilities include ringing sales, promoting loyalty programs, maintaining merchandising and cleanliness, and participating in safety and loss-prevention efforts. Prior retail experience is a plus and a flexible schedule is required.

• Roles models established customer experience with customers
• Accurately rings purchases/returns and counts change
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Maintains merchandising standards and prepares merchandise for the sales floor
• Participates in store recovery and cleanliness
• Ensures safety and compliance with policies and labor laws
• Supports shrink reduction goals and safety initiatives
• Other duties as assigned
