Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of North Carolina LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate. The role involves assisting customers, handling transactions, maintaining a safe environment, stocking shelves, and supporting unloading and restocking activities.

You will interact with customers and team members to ensure a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, assisting with merchandise flow, and following company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent movement and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Keep a safe, clean, and presentable store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
