Family Dollar Stores Of Louisiana LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a positive shopping experience in our Ponchatoula store. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, stock shelves, unload shipments, and maintain a clean, safe environment.

The role requires strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills, with physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods. Part-time position with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent movement and standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep the store clean, restock bathrooms, and ensure neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
