Job summary

Dollar Tree in Lilburn, GA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help create a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions, handle sales transactions at the register, maintain store cleanliness, stock merchandise, and help unload trucks as needed.

You should have a high school diploma or equivalent, prior retail or service experience is preferred, and you must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods. A friendly, team-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Keep the store clean, restock bathrooms, sweep/mop floors, take out trash, keep areas neat and presentable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
