Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Team Member to be a friendly point of contact for customers, stocking and merchandising displays, operating the cash register, and keeping the store clean and organized.

You'll learn products, follow merchandising guidelines, assist in self-checkout, rotate stock, and help set up eye-catching displays while protecting company assets. This role supports store profitability and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to exceed the customer’s expectations.
• Possess product knowledge and use selling techniques to enhance the customer experience.
• Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized store environment.
• Assist in merchandising to create eye-catching displays.
• Rotate product to drive sales according to merchandising guidelines.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning responsibilities.
• Operate cash registers and process payments accurately.
• Assist customers at self-checkout at multiple terminals.
• Stock, restock and rotate merchandise on shelves and displays.
• Clean the store and prepare it for customers.
