Job summary

Dollar General is seeking an attentive retail teammate to act as the main customer contact, help set up plan-o-grams, restock merchandise, and maintain displays across the store. You will assist shoppers, operate the cash register, and ensure accurate transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; store merchandise in stock room or move directly to sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays.
• Stock merchandise; rotate and face merchandise on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Greet customers and operate cash register to total purchases.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners, as needed.
• Clean store front, restrooms, stockroom and set up sidewalk displays.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
