Job summary

Dollar Tree in Georgetown, TX is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the cash register, and help maintain store cleanliness and stock levels.

You’ll also unload trucks and restock merchandise while safeguarding cash and store assets. We value strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities, and prefer candidates with previous retail or customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
