Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Emmett, Idaho is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales transactions at the register, and help maintain a safe, friendly store environment.

This role requires physical stamina for lifting and stocking, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills. You’ll contribute to merchandise receiving, stock replenishment, and keeping the store clean and presentable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and frequent walking/standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
