Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Ehrhardt, SC to provide excellent service to customers and support daily store operations. You will handle transactions, assist customers, and help with stocking, merchandising, and cleanliness to ensure a welcoming shopping environment.

This part-time role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
