Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Florida to provide a high-quality shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle cash transactions, maintain store cleanliness, stock shelves, and support unloading and replenishment activities.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed. This is a part-time position based in Dover, FL, with opportunities to engage in a variety of store tasks and daily

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain store cleanliness, bathrooms, floors, trash, and overall neatness.
• Other duties as assigned.
