Job summary

Family Dollar in Wayne, Oklahoma is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to provide a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help stock and maintain store appearance to meet productivity standards.

You will work in a fast-paced retail environment, requiring strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction while delivering courteous service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Stock merchandise and recover floor space.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks per productivity standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
