Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Cottonwood Heights, Utah, is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, assist customers, merchandise, and handle front-end duties as needed. You will be cross-trained to assist at the register and help maintain a welcoming store environment.

Responsibilities include processing freight, stocking, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering friendly service while ensuring cash handling and security.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or grocery is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Rigorous integrity and basic math proficiency for cash handling are required.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely per productivity standards.
• Merchandise and stock shelves as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness including restrooms, floors, and trash disposal.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Handle sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Protect cash and company assets; follow security procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
