About the role

Risk at Revolut operates across all functions, products, and regions to monitor front-line performance and ensure the business operates safely. They’re among the first to be involved in new initiatives, from tech to customer support.

We’re looking for a Retail Credit Risk Manager to help grow our retail credit portfolio. You’ll use data to shape risk-adjusted return requirements and lead preventive and reactive actions that improve credit performance.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing exposure to retail credit risk
• Working with the Risk Modelling team to design, develop, and implement retail credit risk models
• Managing risk appetite through limit calibration and monitoring
• Maintaining key policies, procedures, and controls
• Engaging with first-line businesses to identify, monitor, and govern emerging retail credit risks, including new product risk assessments
• Engaging with key stakeholders, committees, and regional regulators on material retail credit risk exposures and limit governance
• Quantifying risk exposures within the organization, considering stakeholder impact where possible
• Protecting the company from excessive risk-taking, saving on both short and long-term costs
• Building trust and reputation with external stakeholders
• Identifying emerging risks that require immediate attention or could threaten long-term viability

What you'll need

• 10+ years of retail credit risk experience (not including wholesale/treasury experience)
• Knowledge of retail lending products
• A solid understanding of retail credit risk modelling (PD/ECL)

Nice to have

• A degree in STEM/finance with a minimum 2:1/3.7 GPA
• Experience within the second line of defense (risk)

Compensation range

• New York: $204,000 - $240,000 gross annually*
• Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process

*Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience
