Job Description: Retail Coverage Merchandiser

As the Retail Coverage Merchandiser, you'll be responsible for optimizing product visibility and driving sales in retail stores. Your duties include conducting store visits, collaborating with store managers, utilizing technology for data collection, maintaining product display standards, supporting retail initiatives, and building strong relationships with store managers to increase sales for our clients.

Responsibilities

1. Cover a set territory of retailers, ensuring merchandising coverage goals are met through regular store visits.
2. Support store managers on retail initiatives such as new product introductions and contests.
3. Use technology, including a company-furnished tablet, to collect and report data from store visits.
4. Ensure full distribution and display of products, including cleaning, stocking, rotating, and pricing merchandise.
5. Conduct audits to check data codes, ensure adherence to plan-o-grams, and report observations.
6. Consult with management, meet objectives, and report store-level observations related to client products and customer needs.
7. Identify sales opportunities, manage shelf work, and build relationships with store managers.
8. Execute the retail territory coverage plan to meet merchandising goals.

Qualifications and Experience

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Prior retail experience preferred but not required.
• Strong core competencies including attention to detail, customer service, and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive for long durations.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
