Central Pet Distribution is Hiring Merchandisers! 4-5 Day Work Week, Weekends and Evenings Off!

Do you love pets and enjoy working independently? Our growing company is seeking experienced merchandisers to visit and service retail accounts. Our Pet Distribution team supplies top brands of pet products to stores across the nation. With a set schedule and weekly routes in designated areas, our merchandisers excel at getting products onto store shelves. If you are customer service oriented, organized, dependable, and have great time management skills, this may be the job for you!

Location

Dallas, GA area.

Shift Details

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (35-40 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities

1. Receive, unpack, and scan inbound inventory for retail locations using R/F units.
2. Merchandise products onto store shelves according to schematics.
3. Place replenishment orders for designated products.
4. Count, pack, and arrange pickup/delivery of returned goods.
5. Develop relationships with Back Door Receivers.
6. Work closely with store staff on shelf maintenance and merchandising standards.
7. Construct and assemble displays per specifications; update displays and signage for promotions.
8. Monitor email and voicemail for communication.
9. Practice safety measures when driving.
10. Provide excellent customer service interacting with store managers and employees.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising experience.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with store personnel and consumers.
• Ability to safely use box cutters, bar-coding scanners, push carts, and dollies.
• Smartphone required.
• Access to a computer.
• Ability to work independently.
• Attention to detail.
• Responsible, reliable, and dependable work habits.
• Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
• Ability to bend, pull, and lift up to 30 lbs regularly, and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Maintain alertness and safety during work.

Working Conditions

• Work conducted at retail stores, including loading/unloading areas and sales floors.
• Driving in personal vehicle between locations.
• Remote work environment.

Position Information

• Pay rate: $16.50/hour.
• Mileage reimbursement: $0.56/mile.
• Monthly phone/data plan allowance: $50.
