Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level team member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks across our store, product and customer service. Our Courtesy Team Members enjoy interaction with people and embody ‘above and beyond’ customer service.

Qualifications

• Highly-organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Can handle lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending and twisting while handling product or using various equipment.
• Ability to shine in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect trash from parking lot, lawn, and inside store areas.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment for snow removal.
• Handle perishables and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning; work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
