Job summary

Meijer is seeking entry-level Team Members to gain exposure to a range of retail tasks across services, product and customer service. Courtesy Team Members enjoy helping customers and delivering above-and-beyond service.

Qualifications

• Highly-organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Can handle lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending and twisting while handling product or using various equipment.
• Ability to shine in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Move shopping carts from outside to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for removing snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments including Health & Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card & Party, Outdoor, Seasonal & Floral.
