Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks across our store, including customer service, stocking, and store operations.

Team members enjoy interacting with customers and playing a key role in maintaining store standards. You will support multiple departments and contribute to a welcoming shopping experience by performing tasks in the service desk, entrances, check lanes, and adjacent areas.

Qualifications

• Highly-organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling products or equipment.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside store.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for snow removal.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments including Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
