Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks related to services offered by our store. Courtesy Team Members enjoy interacting with customers and delivering above-and-beyond service.

You will be involved in bagging, stocking, cleaning, and assisting at the service desk and checkout lanes while supporting multiple store departments. This role offers exposure to a fast-paced retail environment and opportunities for growth within the Meijer family.

Qualifications

• Must be highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling products or using equipment.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsabilités

• Safely ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside store areas.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment for removing snow when needed.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with the service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
• This job profile is not all-inclusive and may include other duties as assigned.
